If you have already registered for our Online Service then please visit the Patient Services website to order your prescription.
Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions can be re-ordered by handing in a repeat prescription form to reception (if you do not have a repeat order form, please write out your request including the required medication, your name, address and date of birth).
If you have arranged with a pharmacy for them to collect your prescription from us, please also note this on your request.
We have introduced a new Online Services portal which will allows patients to order prescriptions and book appointments via a secure website. To register for this new service please complete an Online Services Registration form and return this to Reception. The form is available at Reception or can be downloaded here.
Please be aware we no longer accept requests submitted via email or telephone.
Repeat prescriptions can also be requested by post (to the above address).
If you do have any queries regarding a prescription request, please contact us at the above number.
Important: If you are requesting a repeat prescription via post, please ensure that you supply enough postage to cover the cost. If a small envelope is used, a prescription will need to be folded several times and this can mean that the cost can be more than normal. For current postage costs, please check with your Post Office or online at the Post Office website.
Please note that repeat prescriptions cannot be processed during an appointment with a GP.
Requests for repeats require a minimum of 3 working days (not including weekends or public holidays) to process for collection at the surgery. If you have submitted your request via post or have arranged for the prescription to be collected by a pharmacy, we ask you to allow extra time for processing. Please also note that prescriptions should only be re-ordered within 7 days of the due date.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
