Nurse appointments

At Tay Court Surgery, our nurses are trained to deal with a range of minor illnesses and ailments (see below) and can also provide advice and information on various medical matters.

-Oral contraception - Coils/Implants/Injections - Rashes
-Contraception reviews & advice -Emergency contraception - Shingles
- Sore throat (adults) - Earache (adults) - Sinusitis (adults)
- Impetigo (adults) - Vaginal discharges/pain/rashes - Minor injury
- Eye infection - UTI (women only) - Chest infections
- Chickenpox - Hand, foot & mouth - COPD / Asthma
- Chronic Disease reviews (CHD, Diabetes, Stroke, HF, PAD) - Cervical smears - Wound care
- ECG   - Hypertension

Nurse appointments are available from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and can be booked by contacting reception or via our online platform Patient Services

Please note that we no longer have a Phlebotomy Clinic at the Surgery. If you are to have blood tests taken you will be asked to attend the Community Care & Treatment Service (CCTS) to have this done. The number for contacting the CCTS is 01382 496717.
