Nurse Appointments

At Tay Court Surgery, our nurses are trained to deal with a range of minor illnesses and ailments (see below) and can also provide advice and information on various medical matters.

-Oral contraception- Coils/Implants/Injections- Rashes
-Contraception reviews & advice-Emergency contraception- Shingles
- Sore throat (adults)- Earache (adults)- Sinusitis (adults)
- Impetigo (adults)- Vaginal discharges/pain/rashes- Minor injury
- Eye infection- UTI (women only)- Chest infections
- Chickenpox- Hand, foot & mouth- COPD / Asthma
- Chronic Disease reviews (CHD, Diabetes, Stroke, HF, PAD)- Cervical smears- Wound care
- ECG- Hypertension

Nurse appointments are available from 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday and can be booked by contacting reception or via our Patient Services website.

Please note that we no longer have a Phlebotomy Clinic at the Surgery. If you are to have blood tests taken you will be asked to attend the Community Care & Treatment Service (CCTS) to have this done. The number for contacting the CCTS is 01382 496717.
