GP Appointments

To book an appointment with a GP please contact the reception (via telephone or in person) or login to our Patient Services website (if registered). Appointments are released on a daily basis and can be booked in advance when available.

We ask patients to bear in mind that we can only offer a limited number of appointments each day and that once all our appointment slots are filled, our reception staff cannot offer any more. If you are unable to book an appointment yet feel you need to be seen on the same day, you may be offered a telephone consultation with a GP or nurse.

When requesting an appointment with a GP (whether a face-to-face or a telephone consultation) our reception staff will ask the nature of the request in order to allow them to offer the most suitable appointment. You do not have to provide a reason if you prefer not to, but this may mean that you are not given a suitable appointment or that your callback will be placed after those with more urgent requests.

Please note that repeat prescriptions cannot be requested during a consultation with a GP and should instead be submitted to reception using a re-order form (or via online or post).
